Spacers and Retainer screws are used to extend the length of a retainer ( As seen in photo )
The Standard set comes with (2) spacers Approximately 1/4 inch ( 6 – 7 mm ) and 1/2 inch (12-13mm ) thick.

The Notched set comes with (2) spacers Approximately 1/4 inch ( 6 – 7 mm ) and 1/2 inch (12-13mm ) thick with Notch

Only the 1/2 inch (12-13mm) spacer is notched with the Notched spacer set
A 1/4 inch hole is drilled through the center and its counter sunk so that the screw head fits flush inside.
